Casoual Games — last updated: August 21, 2026

Casoual Games ("we") publishes casual games on the web (casoual.games and its subdomains) and on mobile app stores. We designed them to work without accounts and without collecting personal information. This page describes what little data is involved.

What we store on your device

Leaderboards

If you submit a score, we store your score, your chosen nickname and your anonymous player identifier on our servers. Nicknames are public. Don't use your real name if you don't want it displayed.

Saved progress

In games with levels, your progress is also saved on our servers, attached to your anonymous player identifier, so that it survives a cleared cache or a new device. It is merged, never overwritten: playing on a second device cannot erase what you did on the first.

Analytics

Our websites count visits with privacy-friendly analytics (Umami) — no cross-site tracking, no advertising profile.

Our websites and our mobile apps both record a small set of product events with PostHog, on European servers: app opened, game started, game ended, hint used, ad shown, session ended. Each event carries your anonymous player identifier, the game, your language and whether you are in the app or on the web. We use them to see which games are played and where players stop — never to build an advertising profile.

Feedback you send us

If you use the feedback form, we store what you write, your rating, the game, your anonymous player identifier, your device language, your screen size and the country your message came from. We do not store your IP address. The text field is free-form: please don't type anything you would not want us to read.

Diagnostics

When a game hits an unexpected error, we send the error message and its technical stack trace, attached to your anonymous player identifier, so the bug can be found and fixed.

Advertising

Our websites may show ads served by Google AdSense. Our mobile apps may show ads served by Google AdMob. These services may process device identifiers as described in Google's privacy policy. Where required, you will be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.

Location

We never ask your device for its location, and no game requests that permission. All we know is an approximate location: the country a feedback message came from, and whatever Google derives from your IP address when it serves an ad. Never precise location, never a city.

What we don't do

Data deletion

Clear your browser/app storage to remove local data. To remove a leaderboard entry, contact us with your nickname and the game.
